Financial Policy

1. Regular donations should be collected and disbursed by the local Unit Committee (Registered Dharma Chakra) and distributed according to the following formula:

    45% is to be used for local works pertaining to the Dharma Chakra e.g. purchasing and upgrading local Ananda Marga centers of spiritual learning.
    45% goes to the organizational trade/department of the member donating. Family contributions are always split into 22.5% for Women's Welfare and 22.5% for the trade/department of the donating husband. The money can be used for ongoing service projects and the upkeep of local Whole Time ácárya/á.
   10% goes to the national office of AMPSiM. That money are used for administration, public relations, legal and accounting. Details of where to send this part is here.

The local Unit Committee may with due permission of the national office register with local tax authorities as a chapter of the national organization and hence enable themselves to issue official receipts locally.

2. Special donations of substantial seize should always be deposited in the account of the national organization after which a check will be issued directly to the concerning project after deducting 2% headquarter administration fee.
